Avengers Look Book
A collection of how you can wear your favorite Marvel Comic Avengers Superhero’s look and still look adorable. You don’t have to wear skin tight body suits to play the part, but who know a little leather dress and some heels can do wonders as Black Widow. If you love the comics and the movie this is the best way to live out your dream of saving the world, in your imagination at least. After my prior post I wanted to go back and find looks for all of the superheros.
Captain America
He is your classic all american boy. What better time to pull out your favorite USA paraphernalia and put on a pair of blue jeans. And just in time to celebrate the fourth!
The Hulk
The Hulk deserves some major green in the outfit, but still tastefully done. Maybe a slightly classy version of the big guy.
Loki
The villain needs an outfit a little more sinister than the rest. A slinky green dress is sure to bring out the evil in you.
Black Widow
As the only woman character she has to step up in the curvy department. Feel sexy in a little black dress and heels, but keep it sinister with a creeping spider ring.
Iron Man
Iron Man is all about the tech and the metals, what better way to bring it out than a shimmering metallic dress. And what would you be without a beautiful blue necklace as your power source.
Hawkeye
Like Black Widow, Hawkeye is all about the sleek and mysterious. Leather and a pleather of hawk/arrow jewelry bring this look together.
Thor
As the only demi-god of the group you better make a statement. This daring dress isn’t for the faint hearted, but with a cover up blazer is a little more approachable.

Summer Must Haves A-Z- Part I
Just in case you missed it, the first day of summer also known as Summer Solstice happened yesterday. You can definitely tell summer has arrived here in the South with a scorching 95 degrees outside today. But what funner weather for water, margaritas and most importantly dresses. Below I listed the first half of my summer must haves for this year. The other half will TBD to sometime this weekend I hope. Not all have been purchased yet, but since it is just the beginning of the season I still have some time. A little bit of everything is included. Feel free to add your own must haves at the end!
Alice + Olivia to Mint Green
Alice + Olivia
dresses in their Summer Prints come is beautiful flowing pastels. This keyhole dress would be so fun to twirl in and maybe be a little salsa under the stars. The strong graphics modernize the look. (Pink hair not required!)
Burts Bees Lip Balm
in Grapefruit is their new citrus version. My favorite Burts Bees flavor yet and has that fruity punch for summer. Multiple had to be purchased based on my ability to misplace them.
Cut Out
dresses let you show off a little of your midsection without going for the full bralette. Cut outs are also being featured on the sleeves and backs as well. It especially looks stunning on color block pieces, and gives me some motivation to tan my tummy.
Denim
shirts have returned as well as the rest of the 80′s. A button up can be tossed over a t-shirt or dress on those cool summer evenings. I remember these from middle school and can’t believe they are back, but they are so casual cool I can’t resist.
Eye Shadow
is bright colors can reflect the brilliant colors of the season. Red is definitely the hardest trend to pull off this season. Try incorporating a lesser ruby shade throughout the rest of your face as well or just save it for evenings out.
Fedora
is my go to hat in the summer. It protects your hair color an your face from the sun, and lets the summer breeze through. The straw color also goes with just about anything.
Graphic Tops
are a fun bold statement that are comfy and easy to wear. Sites like Threadless and Woot Shirt of the day offer tons of cute and often geeky options.
High Waist Skirts
make your legs super long and help define your waistline. It gives you a chance to try a bralette if you are so daring without showing much skin.
In My Back Pocket
OPI nail color is ready for the oranges of summer. “A bright orange you won’t want to tuck away!” A great way to try some color without going all out.
Jeans in Colors
, jeans are such a staple in the summer you need to step it up a little bit, especially with all the fun colors that are offered now. Try a tangerine pair with a grey shirt to balance it out. Who knows maybe some polish or shadow to match?
Khakis
have always been a summer classic. Liven them up this year by wearing them in a city short or some fun buttons like this pair from Forever 21.
Long Waves
give that beachy summer look, like you were surfing all day, or even just soaking up some rays. Blake Lively is always my favorite to pull off this gorgeous hair style.
Mint Green
can brighten up any outfit with this fun color. Whether it is a dress or shorts. White is always the classic compliment to mint, but black can also be worn for a chocolate mint green combo.
